Stephen Burchill

I’m a Calgary-based photographer and videographer with more than a decade of experience across food, portrait, product, and live music photography. I began photography to explore life through a focused, curious eye, looking for emotional and meaningful moments in every subject.

I aim to find and work alongside clients that have a highly creative demand for the images they want to represent them and their companies.

Since 2020 I’ve worked in the IATSE 212 lighting department on projects like Fargo, The Last of Us, Under the Banner of Heaven, and My Life With the Walter Boys. That work has sharpened my ability to design lighting that brings another level to projects.

Creating imagery that connects and resonates is what its all about. Whether shooting stills, producing video, or building light to shape a mood, I focus on making visuals that leave a clear, lasting impression.
